At her August 6 Zoom fireside chat, Elizabeth "Betsy" Cantwell, SVP for Research & Innovation, hosted a panel discussion on how the University translates research into innovative enterprises that positively impact Arizona and beyond. In addition to our panel of experts, Dr. Cantwell was joined by RII Chief of Staff John O'Neil, a member of the university's Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT); Vice President of Operations Sangita Pawar; and Senior Director Lori Schultz.

In addition to our panel of experts, SVP Cantwell was joined by RII Chief of Staff John O'Neil, a member of the University's Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT); Vice President of Operations Sangita Pawar; and Assistant Vice President of Research Intelligence Lori Schultz.

In the first "Convo With Cantwell" of the new year, panelists will focus on the research and impact of the University's digital humanities programs. The discussion will feature Bryan Carter, director of the Center for Digital Humanities, Jonathan Jae-an Crisman, assistant professor in the Department of Public and Applied Humanities, and Judd Ruggill, head of the Department of Public and Applied Humanities.

This month’s panel discussion will focus on the research and impacts of UArizona's various Borderlands research projects and will feature Javier Duran, Director, Confluencecenter for Creative Inquiry, Anita Huizar-Hernández, Assistant Professor of Border Studies in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, Robin C. Reineke, Assistant Research Social Scientist in Anthropology, and David Taylor, Professor of Art.
