CoVent-19 Challenge

The CoVent-19 Challenge is an open innovation 8-week Grand Challenge for engineers, innovators, designers, and makers. We will be launching the Challenge on the GrabCAD Challenges platform on April 1, 2020. We welcome all who are interested to join a two round challenge that aims to create CAD assemblies by May 1, 2020 (Round 1: General Admission) and functional prototypes demonstrating acceptable performance by June 1, 2020 (Round 2: Invitation Only).

Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC): Pre-Announcement for the National Emergency Telecritical Care Network (NETCCN)

The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) is excited to post this pre-announcement for a Request for Project Proposals (RPP) to rapidly develop and deploy the National Emergency Telecritical Care Network (NETCCN) – a cloud-based, low-resource, stand-alone health information management system for the creation and coordination of flexible and extendable “virtual critical care wards.” These high acuity, virtual wards would bring high-quality critical care capability to nearly every bedside, be it healthcare facility, field hospital, or gymnasium.

CDC Supporting Tribal Health Capacity in Coronavirus Preparedness and Response

This emergency funding opportunity is designed to fund federally recognized tribes that contract or compact with the Indian Health Service under Title I and Title V of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, or consortia of these tribes, or their bona fide agents. All federally recognized tribes, tribal organizations, consortia of federally recognized tribes, or their bona fide agents should apply for this announcement to be considered for future funding under this announcement.

x Tech COVID-19 Ventilator Challenge

The Army has launched a new prize competition, the xTech COVID-19 Ventilator Challenge to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The Army is seeking out low-cost, readily manufacturable emergency ventilator to quickly augment ventilator capacity in the exigent COIVID-19 pandemic. The ventilator challenge is open to all US-based entities and is currently accepting applications. Submissions that are approved by the judging panel will receive an invitation to conduct a virtual pitch to a panel beginning on April 13, 2020.

2021 Breast Cancer Alliance - Young Investigator Grants

The University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) can nominate up to two applicants for the Breast Cancer Alliance Young Investigator Grant. If applicant is not a UACC member, we encourage the applicant to apply for membership. Postdocs may apply as long as they meet all the other eligibility requirements.M. Padi
