Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM)
The AUTM provides training opportunities and guidance documents for technology transfer professionals.

Council on Governmental Relations (COGR)
COGR is an association of research universities.

Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP)
FDP is a unique forum for individuals from universities and nonprofits to work collaboratively with federal agency officials to improve the national research enterprise.

Grants Professionals Association (GPA)
GPA is an international membership association for everyone in the grants industry that helps grant professionals seek to continually improve their professional knowledge and skills in grant research, proposal development, and post-award grant management. 

Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA)
HCCA's goal is to enhance the healthcare compliance profession. Members include compliance officers and staff from a wide range of organizations, including hospitals, research facilities, clinics and technology service providers. 

IACUC 101™ Series (IACUC101)
IACUC 101™ Series presents educational programs to promote understanding of federal laws, regulations and policies governing the care and use of animals in research and education, and the roles and responsibilities of individuals in institutional animal care and use programs. 

International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)
IAPP is a global information privacy community helping practitioners develop and advance their careers and organizations manage and protect their data. 

International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS)
INORMS brings together research management societies and associations from across the globe to enable interactions, share good practice, and coordinate activities between the member societies to the benefit of their individual membership. 

National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
NCMA is the world’s leading professional resource for those in the field of contract management. 

National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA)*
NCURA serves its members and advances the field of research administration through professional development, the sharing of knowledge, and by fostering a sense of community. 

National Grants Management Association (NGMA)
NGMA supports professionals by providing the education, resources, community and support professionals need to understand grants management guidance, advance professionally and personally, and expand their network. 

National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP)
NORDP develops and share best practices for attracting and managing research funding, and facilitate building and implementing collaborative services and resources.

Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R)
(PRIM&R) advances the highest ethical standards in the conduct of biomedical, behavioral, and social science research through education, membership services, professional certification, public policy initiatives, and community building.

Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC)
RACC is composed of active certified research administrators whose role is to certify that an individual, through experience and testing, has the fundamental knowledge necessary to be a professional research or sponsored programs administrator.

Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA)
SoCRA is dedicated to the advancement and continuing education of clinical research professionals.

Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)
SCCE is a regulatory compliance association. SCCE helps members protect their companies and advance their careers through services including education, updates on regulatory requirements and enforcement, and access to a rich professional network. 

Society of Research Administrators International (SRA International)*
SRA International is the premier global research management society providing education, professional development and the latest comprehensive information about research management to 4,500 members from over 40 countries.

 

*NOTE: Memberships to NCURA and SRA International are at the individual level. There is no such thing as an "institutional" membership. At times, Sponsored Projects Services (who maintains members in each) will offer opportunities for free additional logins/registrations when offered and will try to help coordinate bulk registrations to enable campus to take advantage of bulk member rates. These opportunities are communicated through RA Forums and the RAMTalk listserv
